He completed his Forensic Psychiatry fellowship through the University of Virginia’s Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy (ILPPP) and Western State Psychiatric Hospital — training that prepared him to conduct rigorous, court-ready evaluations across a wide range of criminal and civil matters, including competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, risk assessment, and civil litigation.
